The Big  Saloon

In our big saloon Bucking Barrel we can accomodate up to 200 persons for a conference or a party.

When you enter the  450 square meter saloon, you are met with an inner yard. The walls are covered with red barn panels, more than a 100 years old. Inside the hall are 3 smaller houses, and between these is the market place that works as  a dance floor, and as a conference area and restaurant. Over the bar hangs trophies of elk. hunted in Colorado. Here are also elk horns with 18 and 19 teeth, which will impress most hunters, and of course lots of American artifacts. 

The size of the saloon lends itself to line-dance.

We teach you the basics, and it's hard to resist giving it a try with its wonderful rhythm and great atmosphere.  Our powerful  music equipment has a fantastic sound that impresses most people.

The big parties take place in the big saloon. The last month before Christmas we have untraditional Christmas Parties with more than 200 guests each evening.  Apart from food, we have our own special western show with artists from Stockholm. Then follows line-dance and rodeo.  The whole evening is filled with activities, along with modern country music.

Over the 8 meter long bar hangs a big buffalo head, keeping an eye on you so you don't hang around too long. The walls are decorated with elk, deer and furs, and lots of antiques. 

From the outside, the toilet looks like old outdoor toilets, but of course they are fresh and modern inside.

The restaurant has room for 200 guests, but smaller groups may have a cozier time in the small saloon.

Barrel Rodeo

Barrel Rodeo offers evening entertainment for cowboys who want to be thrown off without hurting themselves!  This is very popular on conferences and parties. 

Our home-made Barrel Rodeo is a barrel covered with fabric, hanging in wires, with coiled springs to soften the movement. This is a lot more difficult than riding a mechanical bull.

The daredevil rodeo rider mounts the barrel, gets a good grip at the rope and prepares himself. When ready, he nods, and almost immediately looses control. If he can sit tight for more than 8 seconds, the cheering is well deserved. By the way- the cowgirls often sits longer!
