The Small Saloon

In the winter of 1995, in the yard and connected to what was then the indoor arena, we built our first saloon. With broad floor-boards,  panelled and velvet-like tapestry covered walls and old rustique furniture, pictures with western motives by famous American painters, we created the classical western atmosphere  which today is special for Jultorp Ranch. 

Broad birch boards, strong enough to carry a horse, covers the floor.  A staircase leads up to the balcony with 3 rooms of simple standard. The  Saloon of course has a long, massive bar. When we move the furniture,we get a dance floor suitable for smaller parties.  The Saloon is equipped with old, cozy, well worn furniture. We want you to feel at home as soon as possible. 

A quality music equipment with powerful amplifiers gives the right atmosphere for dancing, and also for the Native American music playing at breakfast time.  We have a huge collection of music, both country and various other artist.  You can also listen to American Country stations via the internet. The table seats about 40 people , but feels right even for a smaller group

The Big Saloon has capacity for 200.

People often comment that since Jultorp is way out in the country-side, the groups tend to stick together, and not wander off to somewhere else. This is an important part of our philosophy.
